The Safety, Health and Environmental Technician is responsible for performing hands-on tasks associated with the ways the plant impacts the surrounding environment including waste handling and security of the plant buildings and grounds to provide a safe, clean, and secure workplace for all employees. 

Acts as the first point of contact with outside vendors who make deliveries, picks up outbound shipments or performs work at the plant and provides basic administrative support to plant management. Performs various tasks associated with the housekeeping, maintenance and security of the plant buildings and grounds to provide a safe, clean, and secure workplace for all employees. Performs work in a safe, responsible manner by following all safety rules and procedures.

• Checks and inspects the plant equipment, buildings, and grounds on a regular basis.
• Records, monitors, and completes appropriate paperwork or data entry
• Basic knowledge of equipment and safety systems
• Good organizational skills.
• Computer literate with working knowledge in Excel, Microsoft Office, and Windows
